GOING TO

I use "going to" when I have already decided to do something. I have a plan.

Examples:

  1. My dad is ill in hospital. This evening I am going to visit him.
  2. My mum loves the Beatles so I am going to buy her a Beatles' record for her birthday.
  3. Martin's pullover is dirty. Mother is going to wash it.
  4. My homework has some mistakes in it. I am going to correct it.
  5. A: Where are you going to spend your holidays next summer?
B: We are going to visit my grand parents in Germany.
